Waking up to see the sunrise with such wonder and awe…..what a great start to the day!
Indeed a must do in our daily lives for such beauty should not go unseen!

Patience is a complex skill to master. A skill that will always need tending to. Having patience for our children can be one of thee most hardest struggles. However patience is what they need. It’s good to give them the time to complete a task that you have raised them to face, whether the task be great or small.
Remain calm, breathe deeply. Give your child the opportunity for you to admire them on a whole different level! And giving them your patience will allow them to admire you on a whole different level!

A favorite part of my day is while I’m driving. I stretch my arm out the window and inhale deeply as I feel the rush of the air moving around me. I imagine I’m flying, I imagine my car is lifting off and I am the pilot. On this particular day I felt as if the clouds were reaching, stretching out for me to join them in the sky in gazing at the beauty laid out before us.
As colder weather begins to set in I am reminded that some of the birds will need to leave us for a short time. As I watch them as I always have I am utterly amazed by their passion to remain together. The colder the weather gets the bigger the flock becomes, and even then the passion to stay together remains.
As I watch this beautiful dance in the sky, I find myself thinking how friendships and families can take note from such passion. Being mindful of each other in that we may live differently, think differently, look differently, love differently or parent differently……our friendships and families can dance beautifully too when we are passionate to remain together.
Having the conversation with a young child……… “It’s you that’s important and what matters, not what you wear” can be a difficult conversation. Be mindful of their feelings. Talking to them about what makes their unique personality so wonderful, while giving them unconditional love, can help them understand their greatness.
Instead of complimenting your child (or someone you know) on what they’re wearing, compliment them about their inner greatness. My daughter said to me the other day….”I love your heart.”
It’s such a pleasure to smell the changing of the seasons….
The smell of fall in the air, hearing the leaves crunch underneath your feet while you walk, hearing the leaves blowing in the wind. The warm fall colors spread out in front of you like an exquisite painted canvas…. Breathtaking!
Taking care and thinking about yourself is important! We can get so busy caring and thinking about others, that we at times neglect ourselves. We wear many hats “roles” that make up who we are…..So I say Hats Off! Take off those hats and do something wonderful for yourself!
Take off your parent hat, take off your sibling hat, your son/daughter hat, your working hat, your friend hat, take all those hats off……………..Ah there you are…….Hello Me!
