Same meal, prepared different

Chicken Alfredo for the whole family. Before mixing everything with the sauce put some noodles, meat and veggies on the kids’s plate. Mom and dad have the supper they want and the kids have a supper they can eat without whining. Everyone’s happy!

Enrichment

As one seeks change one will go through stages of their best self, reaching higher levels of empowerment and awareness. Daily enriching ones soul.

As one transitions from Forgiveness to Enrichment, breathe in deeply, and push out that lingering negative energy, making room for enrichment. Let yourself absorb this new energy for your mind, body and soul is on a new path full of light with rays stretched out in every direction.

Be your best self

Make that Change. Whatever it takes to be your best self, think mindful of it, meditate on it, and apply it. Your best self is your own potential, not what is comparable to others. Your best self today will be different then your best self tomorrow, for you are your own potter molding your best life.

Closing tabs

When I feel my brain has too many tabs open, it means meditation is essential….in need of balance.

Try closing a few of those tabs yourself if you can, breathing easier always feels healthier.

Keeping yourself in check

Keeping yourself in check when your children are not making good decisions, is a tough skill to hone into in the moment. Even when they’re toddlers, refusing to go to bed can get frustrating. However, remembering to take a step back, breathe, and think of the parent you want to be and want your child to see, is better than being over-reactive.

Steps toward a better self

The process of creating a better self takes steps and steps take time. I can think of many words that I’d like my New Year’s word to be, however I’d rather have several words, say four, spread out in steps throughout the year as I create a better me from the inside out. To start this journey I think it best that the first word be the beginning of change, so my first step is Forgiveness.

My hope for your year is that you too take steps in creating a better healthier self. Know your worth, take it all in and embrace it.

Standing Still

Everything around you is moving, but you are standing still. Admiring the stars that twinkle in the cool crisp air, while the little ones are warm and cozy in their beds. In wonder of what the world awaits.

You’re worth it

Take care of yourself. Go for a walk, take a shower, write in a journal, eat your favorite food, get a haircut, cry if you need to, scream if you need to, read a book, take a nap, take a vacation, do what you need to do. You’re worth it, be healthy, have a happy soul.
